A Housing Strategy for Teignbridge (2010 to 2015)
As you may know, the Teignbridge Strategic Partnership (TSP) has been working alongside partners, stakeholders and the wider community to develop an ambitious, inclusive and long term vision for housing within the area. We are pleased to confirm that both Teignbridge District Council and the TSP have adopted 'A Housing Strategy for Teignbridge' on which partners and stakeholders must all now deliver.
The Strategy priorities are presented below: -
Goal 1 - Everyone has the opportunity to access a home suitable to their needs and at a price they can afford.
Goal 2 - Vulnerable people are supported to live independently within our communities
Goal 3 - The standard of quality and management of existing homes is improved.
Goal 4 - Better use is made of existing housing
Please see the strategy below, but note that, although approved, it is still in draft form as it is currently being re-designed:

'A Housing Strategy for Teignbridge' is owned and governed by the TSP and examines the overall housing situation in Teignbridge. It sets out the strategic vision for the future of housing across all tenures. The Strategy is supported by three Council strategies that provide more detail of the Council's role in developing and improving services.
